Modular furniture system / 2005

The ‘meeting suite’ will encourages people tointeract, linger, gather, meet and hang out. Instead of the solitude of the conventional contemporary art experience, this space will encourage social interaction and communication. The table and mobile benches will also have storage space for any supplies associated with activities that happen there, reading material, notepads, pencils, water, etc. This may also be a place to eat, or the benches may be moved for event seating. Plastic containers embedded in the tables wil be filled with fresh fruit and flowers every day.
