Liz Larner is an artist who lives and works in Los Angeles. Born in 1960, she received a BFA from CalArts in 1985. From 1988 to the present, Larner's work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions including Mind Over Matter, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, NY, 1990; Whitney Biennial, 1998, and Whitney Biennial, 2002. Solo exhibitions include: 303 Gallery, New York, NY, 2003; Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, CA., 2001; 303 Gallery, 1999; MAK-Autrian Museum of Applied Arts, Vienna, Austria, 1998; Regen Projects, Los Angeles, CA. 1998; and Kunsthalle Basel, Basel, Switzerland, 1997. Liz Larner received the Guggenheim Fellowship in 1999, and curerently, teaches at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. She is represented by Regan Projects in Los Angeles, and 303 Gallery in New York.
