Sundown Salon #14: Showdown! - GIZMO

One - Day -  Flys (Eintagsfliegen): The idea of  "paperless office" actually had the opposite effect: it increased the amount paper used in offices. Strangely enough in our computerized "immaterial world" we use more and more paper " physical printouts". For some reason, we need the text in front of us, printed on a piece of paper. We are addicted to the physical experience -  waiting for the printout - then realizing: Oh it's wrong! Here is the mistake! Again! Trash it! We did fall in love with the waste, the unwanted, the mistake, the wrong thing, the innocent paper, who is like a patient lover,  waiting , to be used, but then trashed in a second when displaying one mistake. Taking the fluctuation of fashion to the extreme we created: "one day flys" - one day highs  - what's good today is bad tomorrow.
